Purified water in clinical laboratories directly affects the stability of research results, and, accordingly, the productivity of the laboratory and the effectiveness of patient treatment. The presence of contaminants of various nature in purified water can adversely affect the results of biochemical tests. To ensure purified water in accordance with the requirements of CRLW, Merck Millipore has developed a series of systems for clinical diagnostic laboratories, which are equipped with systems for full monitoring of the quality parameters of treated water and automatic data storage.
Reagent-quality water for biomedical and clinical laboratories is purified using advanced reverse osmosis membranes in combination with pre-treatment, UV lamps and 0.22 μm finishing filters. The quality of purified water with Merck Millipore systems for clinical laboratories meets or exceeds the requirements of CRLW: resistivity > value of 10 MОm·cm at 25°C, bacteria < 10 CFU / ml, TOC < 500 μg / l.
