Purified water of consistently high quality
Elix Essential water treatment technologies include an advanced Elix®® electrodeionization module and a reverse osmosis membrane that ensure the formation of type II water of reproducible quality. The optional UV lamp 254 nm irradiates the treated water before it enters the plastic tank.
Electrodeionization module Elix® EDI
The unique technology of electrodeionization is based on anion- and cation-permeable membranes, high-quality ion exchange resins and particles of activated carbon. The patented Elix® technology makes it possible to obtain purified water without the need to regenerate or replace ion exchange resins. It is worth adding a module scheme.
Control over the main parameters of water quality
With the help of high-precision sensors, the system constantly monitors key parameters of water quality, in particular electrical conductivity values.
Fast and easy service
RFID radio frequency identification technology makes it possible to track the frequency of replacement of the Progard® cartridge. Only one cartridge can be replaced. The system provides additional maintenance automatically.
Efficient use of space
Elix® Essential systems have a small base area and can be placed on a table, under a table or on a wall, allowing efficient use of laboratory space.
Elix® Essential is a great substitute for a distiller
Distillers consume 3 to 6 times more water and up to 200 times more electricity than Elix Essential systems. The Elix system produces water of constant quality with a resistivity of 10 – 15 MW * cm at 25 ° C and a TOC < content of 30 ppb. The quality of distilled and bidistilled water largely depends on the source of incoming water and is inferior in quality parameters to treated water Elix: the value of the resistivity of the distillate is about 2 MW * cm at 25 ° C.
