Airstream® Class II Type B2 (AB2) Biosafety Cabinets provide product, operator, and environmental protection and are suitable for handling small amounts of toxic chemicals and agents that meet Biological Safety Levels I, II, or III.
Description of the class II biological safety cabinet type B2 Airstream®
The Class II Type B2 cabinet is designed in such a way that the entire incoming and outgoing air flow is discharged after filtration with HEPA/ULPA filters into the external environment without recirculation through the work surface.
*External separate exhaust ventilation is required for this cabinet
Important advantages of the Airstream® B2 series:
- The Sentinel™ Silver microprocessor controller displays key parameters such as airflow on a single screen.
- The double-walled design surrounds the work area with negative pressure chambers for maximum safety.
- The unique design of the Esco Dynamic Chamber™ ensures quiet, even airflow.
- The filtration system consists of two filters: an inlet ULPA filter and an outlet HEPA filter.
- The fan automatically shuts off in the event of an exhaust malfunction to ensure operator safety.
- The one-piece inner work area provides a large radius for easy cleaning.
- The IsocideTM powder coating prevents bacterial growth on external surfaces, protecting against contamination and increasing safety.
