The 5420 G centrifuge is designed taking into account the standard tasks of molecular biology. The spectrum of methods includes DNA/RNA purification, DNA extraction from agarose gel, and PCR response setup. It occupies a particularly small area to save space on the lab desk and has a control panel with a keyboard that is easy to clean. You can rotate up to 24 1.5/2.0ml tubes. Additional adapters expand the range of tube volumes: 0.4 and 0.5 ml, as well as BD Microtainer® 0.6 ml. A rotor for 32 PCR tubes (0.2 ml) or four PCR strips is also available. For your safety, a standard rotor provides aerosol-tight centrifugation of hazardous samples such as viruses, pathogenic bacteria or radioactive probes.
